Baja International Film Festival, Los Cabos (BIFF) is pleased to invite you to participate in our upcoming edition to be held from November 13 - 16, 2013 in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.
In this second edition, the Baja International Film Festival, Los Cabos offers a number of activities for the Industry, which aim to link and strengthen the collaborative relationship between the film industries of Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.
BIFF 2013 will bring together prominent members of the film industry from these three countries, and will assist producers, directors, sales agents, distributors and active members of the film industry, in finding new and better opportunities for the development of their projects.

The Industry activities scheduled for this edition of BIFF are:
Three discussion panels focused on the use of new technologies and co-production possibilities among Mexico, USA and Canada:

Sales Agent Workshop: Experts in the field will share their experience. They will engage in a dialogue with the audience in order to build up the Mexican film community in this area.

Work In Progress: Six Mexican films in post-production stage and needing support for their completion, will be presented to accredited professionals in the BIFF's industry area, i.e. producers, distributors, sales agents, service companies, support funds and representatives of national and international festivals. Additionally they will compete for both the single cash prize awarded by the Baja International Film Festival, Los Cabos, as well as for the acquisition of rights award offered by Moviecity.
*The call for entries will be open from July 2 to August 30, 2013. The festival will give a cash prize and there will be a second award from Moviecity.

Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund: Honoring one of the greatest filmmakers of Mexico, the Baja International Film Festival, Los Cabos, has created this film fund that will support seven Mexican feature film projects, fiction or documentary, at development and script stage, as well as two Mexican feature film projects, fiction or documentary in post-production stage.Go to Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund
